   Well...I think you are getting much negative press, in part, because you are hiding your own work. To post as you have and be listened to requires that you have established some level of cred with your audience. You have none! Therefore, you are garnering disrespect. I recommend that you stop grandstanding and start posting your own work, something that you feel has merit rather than something that mocks. I always used to say to my freshman, "show dont' tell." I give that advice to you. Show us what subjects are worthy of writing about and how someone goes about doing this by showing us your work. Let's see if you can convince us to agree with you.

   I have posted two poems on the site! I've only been posting to Salty Dreams for a couple weeks, so I haven't gotten the chance to post all that much. Those two poems illustrate one type of style I find acceptable in poetry, but there are definitely more styles I love. The only styles I don't accept are modern and postmodern; on the other hand, for most of the people on Salty Dreams, modern and postmodern styles are the only styles they DO accept. Whether my 17th century-style poems have credibility with people who have a pathological hatred for them doesn't matter to me. Nevertheless, contrary to your claims, I HAVE posted poems on the site. Since I can't (and wouldn't) force you to read them, it's not my fault that you haven't.
